Old felt flat roofs crack, blister and let water in at the edges. We strip them back, check the deck and re-cover them in a single-piece rubber or fibreglass system with proper trims and outlets.
How we do it
- Old felt and any rotten boards are stripped away.
- The deck is replaced or overboarded so it’s flat and firm.
- EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass is laid in one piece where the size allows.
- Edge trims, upstands and outlets finished so water runs off cleanly.

How long does a flat roof take?
A typical extension or garage takes one to two days.
Can you add insulation?
Yes. A warm roof build adds insulation boards on top of the deck. We’ll explain the height change at the survey.
Rubber or fibreglass?
Rubber is quicker and copes with movement. Fibreglass suits roofs that get walked on. We’ll recommend one for your roof.
